Caring
Caring for your new puppy or dog is more than just feeding and providing your pup with a place to lay his head down - it's training and socializing, it's bathing your pup after he's been sprayed by a skunk, combing out his coat to keep it from getting tangled and scruffy. It's loving him and caring for him unconditionally. We'll take you through basic grooming, training and care.
Health
You are responsible for your puppy or dog's health throughout his entire life. It's a big responsibility but one that shouldn't be overwhelming. If you follow our guidelines to good puppy health and are hands-on with your dog, you'll know when he's healthy and when his health is compromised. Keeping your dog healthy by engaging in daily walks and fitness activities will create a bond between you and your dog that will benefit his health and yours.
Nutrition
Good nutrition is as important to your dog's health as it is to your own. But their nutritional needs are quite different from yours. Your pup or dog's age, breed and size will all factor into your choice of diet. Your lifestyle will impact your dog's daily fitness regime and you may need to adjust your dog's diet to meet that activity level. Today's dogfood diets are innovative and exciting - Prebiotics, special allergy diets, toy dog diets are just a few of the many special diets available for your pup.
Grooming
Grooming your dog accomplishes much more than just making your pet's coat look nice and shiny. It will provide you with the opportunity to spend some quality time with your dog, combing, brushing, bathing and generally bonding with him.
Training
From the moment you bring puppy home - the socialization and training you do will influence his disposition for his entire life, and will affect how well your puppy fit's in with your family and with your lifestyle. Puppy training is essential to his overall happiness, and yours.
